"Abide with me"

This past week I finished this book:






















Then on Sunday, I went to Unitarian church and this was the last hymn (a hymn I have never heard in before in a UU service):

      I'd say this is a pretty big coincidence given that this hymn was a big symbol in the book AND the fact that after growing up in a UU church, I never heard it once (it is a bit too Christian for most UUs I think). I have no idea what it means.
